Holiday Greetings From Little Obsessed
Posted by Little Obsessed on 9th Nov 2015
We’re entering a time of the year that has holidays, celebrations and gatherings, from Thanksgiving celebrations to Christmas, Hanukkah and other winter holidays that keep most people busy. We at Little Obsessed love to celebrate, whether it’s about cooking for the family, decorating the house or just getting together to spend time with the people you love. That’s why we’ve stocked our store with items that are perfect for cute Thanksgiving table decorations, fun Christmas mini gifts and much, much more. As always, we included some of our favorite seasonal cooking/DIY ideas, too.
Thanksgiving
The Thanksgiving table is one of our most iconic traditions, so we wanted to start by sharing some decorating tips to give home-cooked servings and take-out dinners alike the feeling of a fun Thanksgiving. For atmospheric lighting, you can use the Turkey Tealight Holder as a place setting, a party favor, part of a centerpiece or anywhere you think needs a little turkey spirit. Or, if you’re visiting someone for a Thanksgiving meal, it’s a great gift for your host or hostess. Another adorable Thanksgiving item we wanted to highlight is the Pilgrim Beanbag Couple , which can be both an entertaining toy as well as a part of your table decorations.
For those of you who are enthusiastic about baking, here’s a fun and easy way to make Thanksgiving-related sweets! These miniature pilgrim hats are upside-down mini fudge stripe cookies topped with mini (unwrapped) peanut butter cups and a mini M&M for the buckle, all affixed with icing. We’ve tested making these ourselves, so we can promise they’re a fun and easy way to sweeten any gathering.
Winter Holidays
As soon as you’ve recovered from Thanksgiving, it’s time to
start planning for December holidays! We have a collection of great items that
we think will make for delightful stocking stuffers, whether you’re shopping
for company holiday gifts, friends or – this one’s our favorite – yourself.
There is an entire section of
Winter
Holiday items
for all those
important people on your list!
And if you’re in the mood to do it yourself, we have a great idea for a fun baking night with family or friends. Check out our miniature gingerbread houses, which can be made with your favorite gingerbread recipe. The only difference is that the miniatures give you the opportunity to get creative by making as many different kinds of gingerbread houses as you want (how about a whole village?), and coming up with miniature details is a fun challenge, too. You can even hang them off the side of your hot toddy or hot chocolate for dipping!
